Video Upscaler

For clips you generated here and footage you already had — raise the resolution before you export.

2x or 4x upscale

Pick a factor. A 720p source comes back at 1440p or 2880p equivalent.

Upload and run

No prompt. Hand it a video, choose the factor, run.

Cost shown first

Credits are calculated from length and factor, and shown before the job starts.

Video Upscaler

What is the video upscaler?

The upscaler does not generate video. It processes video you already have and raises its resolution. There is no prompt and no reference image — the inputs are a video file and a scale factor. Use it to finish clips generated on this site, or on low-resolution footage you brought with you.

Video tool

Nothing to write. Hand over the video and choose a factor.

The content stays as it is. Only the resolution changes — no new scenes appear.

It draws on the shared balance used by the video and image models, so there is nothing extra to sign up for.

Why upscale

Why upscale instead of regenerating

When you like a clip and only the resolution falls short, regenerating gives you a different clip — new framing, new motion. Upscaling keeps the take you already chose and raises the resolution around it.

01

Keep the take you liked

A regeneration is a different video. An upscale is the same video, larger.

02

Cheaper than regenerating short clips

A 5-second clip at 2x is about 60 credits — less than generating those 5 seconds again on Kling 3.0.

03

Finishes what you made here

Draft on a low-cost model, then upscale only the takes that survived.

04

Works on footage from anywhere

The source does not have to be generated on this site — any uploaded video works.

FAQ

Video upscaler FAQ

Common questions about upscaling.

You can try it within your free credits without paying anything extra, but each job consumes credits, so it is not unlimited. The exact amount is shown before you run it.

It is metered per second of video. A 5-second clip is roughly 60 credits at 2x and roughly 106 at 4x. Resolution and frame rate do not change it.

We cap it at 30 seconds, and files must be under 50MB.

No. The upscaler is Topaz Video Upscaler, a separate model from the Kling series. It does share the same credit balance as the Kling video and image models.

No. It raises resolution; it does not generate new scenes or takes. Framing and motion stay as they were.

Failed jobs do not consume credits.
